In February of
2001, we decided to take a giant leap of faith and make a drastic
life change! Marty was working and travelling too much, and Robyn was
overworked at home with our 4 kids. Marty quit his job that he had
for 12 years, we sold our house and bought the rights to a The Little
Gym® territory in Little Rock, Arkansas. We opened The
Little Gym® in Little Rock
in August of 2002.
Our goal was to
own a business and be able to spend time together as a family. This
goal was met and surpassed with The Little Gym. In fact, we loved it
so much, we bought another one! In July of 2003, we purchased The
Little Gym® of Arlington/Mansfield (Texas).
Marty is in charge
of the business side of the gyms and keeps everything going and all
of the employees paid. I am the Program Director and teach lots of
parent/child and preschool classes. I also make sure all of our
advertising is submitted on time. We couldn't be happier with our new
careers and couldn't imagine doing anything else! Take a look at some
